The Rebel Radio Show: FINALE

The final episode of The Rebel Radio Show aired Monday, Sep. 29th

As many of you know, WSRR Radio was started off the back of The Rebel Podcast, initially as StylesRebelRadio.com, simply as a home page for show information and news updates. Over 5 years later, WSRR has become your home for local and independent music across the nation. From college radio to podcasting to other stations, to starting our own, you’ve watched The Rebel Radio Show grow and evolve over 283 live shows. We cannot begin to thank you enough for the immense support you have shown and the trust in us you had to create something so much larger than just one weekly show. Thank you to the countless guests we’ve had on for joining us for two hours at a time for pure nonsense, and our incredible sponsors who all work tirelessly to support local music and business. They have and continue to keep WSRR and local music on your radios! We want to send a special thank you to WSRR artists Year of October, who had previously provided us with the use of Watselands Pt. 2 to use for our conspiracy series, and of course, The Daze for allowing us to use their songs Trash and Falling for Nothing as our intro and outro, respectively, for the past few years. While this is bittersweet, it is far from the end. The finale of The Rebel Radio Show symbolizes the start of an exciting new era in WSRR programming! The finale will be released as a special two-part podcast in the following weeks to give anyone who missed it live a chance to hear the full send off. Additionally, The Rebel Radio Show replays will continue to run at 5pm Eastern as part of your weekday afternoon drive block. The WSRR website has already undergone some new updates we encourage you to check out, one of which is The Rebel Radio Show page, which now features a gallery of past shows! Again, we thank you all so much for the years of support you’ve shown and look forward to you joining us in the exciting future of WSRR Radio!

AIP: A Podcast Made by Artificial Intelligence

The AIP, or Artificial Intelligence Podcast will be debuting tomorrow on StylesRebelRadio.com

The Artificial Intelligence Podcast is a creation of radio’s Rebel DJ, Style himself. The podcast is a monthly show comprised with the goal of having every aspect of it made by AI. The brainchild of Style, AIP is entirely written by AI, The podcast art is created by AI, artificially voiced, and even the music heard in the background has been composed by AI! There is as little human input in each episode as possible with the only text directly written by man being: “Hello and welcome to the podcast. I’m Your host,” which can be heard to start out each episode. The remainder of the show is entirely comprised of artificial intelligent generated script.

The First episode of AIP officially be released tomorrow, September 6th, 2022, but the early pilot can be heard now on Anchor.fm or Spotify(below)

Early test and focus groups who listened to The AIP’s reactions were quoted in a recently released article about upcoming programming changes coming to StylesRebelRadio.com and can be read here.

New Programming

Beyond Bounds

Beyond Bounds, a show to be hosted by Evan Sinarski, will tackle theoretical explanations of the universe as well as everyday life. While not a physicist, Evan will be diving into theoretical and metaphysical paradoxes in an attempt to explain or comprehend the reasoning behind them.

While still in the development stage, Evan has expressed great interest in the possibility of guest involvement as well as listener involvement and fan-submitted theories. Keep up to date with StylesRebelradio.com as well as the WSRR Discord for updates to follow about the debut of Beyond Bounds.

Codename: AIP

A new series created by Style is currently set to air on Anchor and Spotify in Mid to Late September. The series WILL NOT feature the voice of Style, however, nor any familiar WSRR members. While still in early development, the project is currently being kept under the alias of “codename: AIP”. Not much is currently publically known about the forthcoming series other than the fact a pilot was distributed to a test/focus audience for input about the show. (anonymous focus Audience comments listen below).

“Oh God, I Love it. I’m both intrigued and confused after listening to that.”

“It’s even more terrifying in headphones but I love it, Gave me chills.”

“That thing went wayyy off.”

“Bro, That shit is awesome.”

“I can’t wait to hear this shit.”

While no exact date has been announced, as always, stay up to date on StylesRebelRadio.com and the WSRR Discord server.
